Circularity Hub Impact Program

Are you an early-stage, impact-driven startup working in AI, waste & circularity?

The Circularity Hub Impact Program is a FREE six-week bootcamp designed to help startups at the intersection of technology and sustainability tackle the world’s most pressing waste management and resource efficiency challenges. Whether you're leveraging AI to optimize recycling systems or creating innovative circular business models, this program will help you turn your vision into measurable, scalable impact.

We've designed this program in collaboration with Richard Georg Engström, founder of IBMS, investor, advisor and your future mentor.

Using the Impact Business Modelling System (IBMS), you’ll learn how to:

  • Quantify your environmental and social impact,

  • Refine your business model to integrate sustainability solutions,

  • Develop compelling impact metrics that resonate with investors and stakeholders, and

  • Prepare for fundraising with a focus on sustainable tech ventures.

The program includes interactive workshops, personalized 1-on-1 coaching, and culminates in an Impact Demo Day in Berlin, where you’ll pitch your solution to a network of investors, mentors, and industry leaders passionate about AI-driven circularity.

Key Dates

  • Application deadline: March 14th

  • Program kickoff: April 1st (online)

  • Demo Day: Week of May 19th, in Berlin

Join a community of innovators turning waste into opportunity and AI into a force for good.

Past Cohorts

We've successfully guided two cohorts of startups through our Impact Program, helping them turn their vision into measurable impact and actionable results.

The sessions took us step by step from the problem to the solution and how best to quantify impact.
    • Early-stage start-up founders in the circular economy space

    • Post-grad students with an impact idea backed by their research

    • Senior business professionals with a impact-driven concept

  • The IBMS methodology has been developed by Richard Georg Engström, who is an entrepreneur, investor, advisor and your future mentor. Richard created IBMS to help start-ups gain clarity and quantify the real impact their sustainable solutions can have. This in turn helps investors in their decision-making process and start-ups to get funded faster.

    • Impact business modelling online workshops (Impact Statement, Impact Plan, Circular business model, Impact Metrics)

    • Individual one-on-one sessions (to put the knowledge from workshops to work for your start-up/concept)

  • The main requirement is that you have a solid business idea that focuses on circular economy solutions - ideally implementing AI. We are open to all maturity stages. You can apply as a solo founder or with a team.

  • This program is free for all selected start-ups/teams. The cost of it is covered by NEEW Ventures.

  • The maximum intake for this program is 10 start-ups/teams. We decided to keep it deliberately small, so that all the teams can get as much personalised support as possible.

  • All the classes as well as the kick-off will take place online. The final presentation will be on site at NEEW Ventures HQ at Berliner Str. 80-82 in Berlin.

Based in Berlin? You’re always welcome to come by for collaboration, idea exchange and networking.
